Skiffle Time - Cats

Animated black and white television commercial for Guinness Extra Stout. Advert opens with title card: "Guinness Skiffle Time" against a backdrop of cats playing instruments. A keeper watches two cats dancing to the tune of "Guinness is Good For You" before himself being dragged off by another cat to dance. The exhausted and disshevelled keeper is delighted when a kitten brings him a glass of Guinness. Advert condlues with caption and VO "Guinness is good for you". Agency: SH Bensons Ltd.
