Colour television commercial for Draught Guinness. The advertisement opens in a clerk’s office, where a young man is sitting before the desk of a more senior colleague. The older man looks through a document marked ‘draft’ and points out that he doesn’t approve of the 20 % figure suggested by the younger man. They haggle and eventually settle on a figure of 12½ %. The matter settled, the older man suggests they have ‘a cup of tea’. They reconvene in a pub, drinking Guinness from tankards, where the older man smiles and enquires: ‘It was 10%, wasn’t it?’, to which the younger man’s expression suddenly becomes serious.
