A jungle soundscape plays in the background as the man orders, watches his pint being poured and licks his lips after the first sip. Dissolve to view of same man lying in a hammock having been awoken by a beautiful female companion. Advert concludes as camera pans out to reveal the man is lying on a yacht moored just off the coast of an exotic white beach as he says: "I've just had this wonderful dream... ". Agency: JWT. Animated storyboard television advertisement for Draught Guinness. Opens with exterior view of 'Joe's Cafe' followed by shot of a trucker ordering from a man in chef's whites. Rhyming VO from point of view of man in chef's whites as he laments the fact that the preferences of customers in Joe's Cafe give him little room to experiment. Cut to daydream by chef of him entering a bar and ordering a Draught Guinness. Shots of square red and black tankard fount and use of Waterford tankard. Accompannying VO narrates his experience of drinking a Guinness: "But when I see the boys in the Mallard, I order with style and aplomb. The first course a delight, smooth and creamy yet light with a subtle dark main course to come. Then I sample the master's creation, my fellow gourmets they have no doubt, a pint of Draught Guinness from the start to the finish - to me that's a 5 star night out."

Advert opens with view of man standing at a bar drinking from a Waterford tankard of Draught Guinness while other patrons look on expectantly. The love theme from Tchaikovsy's Romeo & Juliet overture reaches a climax in the background as he finishes his pint, contemplates it for a second, and smiles and nods as if in approval to the other patrons. "The End" caption appears on screen as the other patrons relax and ordinary hustle and bustle beings again. Camera pans out from exterior of the pub [The Dog and Duck] to reveal a docklands landscape as end credits roll identifying cast members and filming location [Acclesford].
