Harp television advertisement 'Horse Race' from the 'Gold Medal Feeling' campaign in which a drinker in a bar imagines himself taking part in a horse race. Black and white advert opens with a man at a bar, a barman pouring a bottle into a glass. Dissolve to close-up of the filling glass, as a voiceover begins ‘Harp gives you that gold medal feeling…’ To music, a series of still images show a horse race, concluding with the winning jockey receiving a medal. Dissolve from the jockey back to the same man at the bar as he finishes his drink. Dissolve to the medal around the neck of the Harp bottle, with full glass and larger medal in background. The medal is engraved '1965 - qualité biere', referring to a Gold Medal for Quality awarded to Harp Lager in 1965 by the International Beer Investigation Centre in Brussels, the second such gold medal awarded to Harp since it started exporting in 1963.

Dissolve to close-up of the filling glass, as a voiceover begins ‘Harp gives you that gold medal feeling...’ To music, a series of still images show a man rescuing a woman from a capsized boat at sea, concluding with the rescuer receiving a medal. Dissolve from the rescuer back to the same man at the bar as he finishes his drink. Dissolve to the medal around the neck of the Harp bottle, with full glass and larger medal in background.
