You Know Its Good

Guinness television advert entitled 'You Know It's Good'. Advert opens with a wooden door with a Guinness goblet logo painted on it. In close-up, the key turns in the lock and the door slowly opens, revealing a real goblet of Guinness inside. A voiceover begins, ‘When we make Guinness we use an entirely natural process…’ Zoom in to extreme close-up of the Guinness glass. Dissolve to ears of barley in a field with a harvester in background. Branches of hops being harvested by hand. A steel cylinder with the words ‘Guinness Yeast’ inside a small wooden display box. A stream flowing through a mountainous path. Dissolve back to the Guinness goblet and zoom out. The voiceover adds that the final ingredient of Guinness is a touch of magic. The door shuts, then reopens revealing an empty goblet. The voiceover concludes, ‘Guinness – you know it’s good’. Agency: ARKS
