Walking (Northern Ireland version)

Harp television advertisement 'Walking' in which only the feet of a man and a woman are seen as they buy bottles of Harp lager and meet up at a house. Colour advert opens with close-up of feet walking on a footpath. A drumbeat begins in time to the footsteps, as a voiceover begins ‘There’s just one beer to have for a party…’ The feet and legs are seen in close-up walking along streets and into a building, before exiting with a six-pack of Harp bottles carried by their side. A woman’s legs are seen walking, also with a six-pack of Harp. Interspersed shot of the man’s and woman’s legs before they meet and enter a house, with caption ‘Harp – a step in the right direction’, and song concluding ‘Harp – take a step in the right direction.’ Credits: Director - T O'Leary, Camera - B.
