Harp television advertisement 'Carpenter' from the 'Talking about Pints’ campaign in which a carpenter is heard talking about Harp lager over scenes of him working on a building site. Colour advert opens with a man climbing ladder, with caption ‘Talking about pints’. Over brief shots of the man working as a carpenter on a building site and sitting in a pub with his friends is the sound of the man explaining why he likes to drink Harp. Harp television advertisement 'Dubliner' from the 'Talking about Pints’ campaign in which a Dublin man is heard talking about Harp lager over scenes inside a pub. Colour advert opens with a pint being filled in close-up, with caption ‘Talking about pints’. Over shots of a group of men and women sitting at curved bar, one man talking to the others and prodding each of them with a finger to make his point, is the sound of a man with a Dublin accent explaining why he likes to drink Harp. The man turns to one of the women and reaches out to prod her in the chest, but stops short in embarrassment. The man turns back to the bar and takes a drink, with caption ‘Harp’ and voiceover says, ‘Harp – it says a lot for your taste, it does a lot for your thirst.’ Credits: S. Vere; B Ash/Scope Films. Harp television advertisement 'Oil Rigger' from the 'Talking about Pints’ campaign in which an oil rig worker is heard talking about Harp lager over scenes of him going to the pub after his two-month stint at sea. Colour advert opens with a man crossing the street, with caption ‘Talking about pints’. Over brief shots of the man walking and another man opening the gates and doors of an old-fashioned hardware store is the sound of people ordering a pint of Harp in a pub and talking about how much they like it. Other men walk along the street, the first man walks as his voiceover explains that he works on an oil rig and looks forward to his first pint after he returns home. Colour advert opens with a Harp branded truck driving along a street, with caption ‘Talking about pints’. Over brief shots of a glass being filled from a tap and of the truck driver delivering his kegs is the sound of people ordering a pint of Harp in a pub and talking about how much they like it. Brief shots of a roadworker, a farmer driving cattle, a man sawing a fallen tree with a handsaw.
