Black and white advert opens with birds in a cage. A man walks behind the cage, as a voiceover begins, ‘Join the Ballytrack Bird Fanciers. When you have a Harp you’re in good company’. The man's attention is drawn to a woman walking among the cages. They smile to each other and raise the glasses of beer they are holding.

Harp television advertisement 'Saturday Gardening Club' from the 'Good Company' campaign in which a suburban man wants to join his neighbours in the pub. Black and white advert opens with tree branches, panning down to three identical suburban houses with three men mowing their front lawns. Brief close-up shots of the men and the push-mowers. One of the men stops and notices that the other two have disappeared. He spots one of them, who makes a drinking gesture and beckons home, but he refuses and indicates towards his wife, who approaches and hands him garden shears, to his disappointment. Inside a pub people order drinks, one of them carrying a large potted plant. A voiceover begins, ‘Join the Saturday Gardening Club. Have a Harp – you’re in good company’. Two tankards of beer are placed next to a Harp bar mount. Closes with the disappointed man marching purposefully along the footpath with his wife holding his hand and struggling to keep pace.

Black and white advert opens with dirt bikes cresting over a hill, watched by crowds. As they race towards the finish a voiceover begins: ‘Join the Smokey Mountain Scramblers. When you have a Harp you’re in good company’. The winning motorcyclist removes her helmet to reveal long blond hair. A crowd of well-wishers gather around her and hand her a glass of Harp lager.

'The Gentle People' feature the founder members of Horslips (Eamon Carr and Jim Lockhart are seen, Charles O’Connor and Barry Devlin are understood to be present) - filming this advert supposedly inspired them to become professional musicians in 1970

Black and white advert opens with a group in a vintage car outside a stately home. A man attempts to turn the crankshaft at the front of the car as a voiceover begins: ‘Join the Vintage Car Association. When you have a Harp you’re in good company’. The man is finally successful in starting the car and climbs into the front seat while the others in the car hold glasses of beer.
