Made using three different types of grain – no other beer was brewed in this way at that time. This unique brewing process was developed at St. James’s Gate. The name ‘Breo’ is an ancient Celtic word meaning ‘glow’. The beer was on the market from 1998 to 2002, in Ireland only. Glass donated to the Guinness Archive in February 2017 by Colm O'Connor, Guinness Beer Specialist.
