Harp television advertisement 'Tug of War' from 'The Leading Lager' campaign in which a group of men end a sports day with a Harp lager. Colour advert opens with tug of war teams competing on grass outside pub. Supporters encourage them to pull, interspersed with a tankard being filled from a Harp tap. The barman emerges from the pub carrying a tray of full Harp tankards, and shouts ‘Who ordered the six pints of Harp?’ The team nearest to him all turn to him and drop the rope, sending the other team crashing to the ground. Closes with the competitors in their vests drinking tankards of Harp outside the pub, with caption ‘Harp – the leading lager’, repeated by voiceover which adds ‘…and no mistake.’ Credits: S Lambert Northern Ireland version

Harp television advertisement 'Workout' from 'The Leading Lager' campaign in which a group of men end their gym workout with a Harp Lager. Colour advert opens with men doing press-ups in a gym, as an instructor counts. Interspersed close-ups of the men and a tankard being filled from a Harp tap. The instructor finishes his count and signals the end of the session. The same men gather at the bar of a pub and collect tankards of lager. Back in the gym, one man is still doing press-ups. A man returns from the pub carrying two tankards of lager, placing one next to the struggling athlete. Seeing the pint, he jumps his count from 47 to 100 and stops to take a drink, smiling at his friend, with caption ‘Harp – the leading lager’, repeated by voiceover which adds ‘…and no mistake.’ Credits: S Lambert Northern Ireland version

Harp television advertisement 'Wrestlers' from 'The Leading Lager' campaign in which wrestlers end a training session with a Harp lager. Colour advert opens with two wrestlers in a ring. One throws the other to the canvas, but a trainer shouts ‘no, no, no…’ and asks them to try the move again before they go to have a pint of Harp. Interspersed shots of the wrestlers repeating the throw and a tankard being filled from a Harp tap. The wrestlers and trainer stand at the bar of a pub and pick up tankards of lager. One wrestler jokes to the trainer ‘Do you mind if I win next time? All three laugh and take a drink, with caption ‘Harp – the leading lager’, repeated by voiceover which adds ‘…and no mistake.’ Credits: S Lambert Northern Ireland version
